Elder Roy Lee Rodolph was born on september 8, 1903, in Covingtos blessed with 10 children. Elder Rodolph was called to ministry as a young man in Alabama. In 1949 he proceeded hi family and relocated to Buffalo Ny where he became affiliated with The State Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of C.H Brown. He was later joined by his wife and family. In 1952, while serving at The State Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, the spirit of the Lord spoke to him and said “Go where I send thee” Being led by the spirit he was led to a one room school house on Sawyer road, Kent NY Elder Rodolph asked the Lord to reveal the name for the church that he had organized. One Sunday morning, while on the way to the church, it was revealed to him – Royal Church of God in Christ. The scripture that was revealed to him was I Peter 2:9-

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. “

There Pastor Rodolph and his wife, mother Posher Rodolph laboured for a number of years until God spoke again and said, “it is time to move on”, and in 1961, a door was opened at 304 Sycamore St. in Buffalo NY with many souls being saved in this location until the Lord allowed them to purchase the building at 97 Rodney St. which was also named Royal Church of God in Christ.

SANFORD EUGENE RODOLPH
In 1988 The Lord called Elder Roy Rodolph from labor to reward leaving his son Sanford Eugene Rodolph and District Missionary Clara Rodolph to continue his legacy. The Lord continued to bless the congregation to grow and transition unto a new building 1280 Fillmore Ave. Buffalo NY when the Lord called missionary Clara Rodolph home to be with the Lord. Pastor Rodolph was then united in holy matrimony to Anne Mae Rodolph to continue the work of the Lord for many years. With the Lord’s divine favor, the Royal church continued to grow into our present Location 1335 Clinton St. in Buffalo NY, under the Leadership of these two great men the mantle was then carried down 4 generations to their Grandson and current pastor Apostle Albert D.Wilson Jr. establish another extension to the ministry called The Royal Body Shop Outreach Ministries located in Albion NY. As Apostle and Wilson continue to honor and stay faithful to God, under this ministry the Lord continues to save lives and perform miracles.

Albert D. Wilson Jr is married to Ykeeta Wilson and through there union they share 7 children. Pastor Wilson has served in the church since he was 6 years old being officially ordained as a minister in the early 2000’s. While serving as a good servant under Leadership his grandfather then was Led by the Lord in 2011 to officially past the mantle and appoint him as the Pastor of the church. In which time Pastor Wilson was led by the Lord to change the name of the church to The Greater Royal Worship Center which proclaims that the Lord has called his forefathers vison to GREATER!!! In 2019 Pastor Wilson accepted the Lord’s calling and was installed as an Apostle, and as he continued to stay faithful to the Lord and continuing his forefathers vision Apostle Wilson operates with the 3 L’s principle We Love, We Lift, and We Liberate. With the continued building in the Lord’s house paired with the tremendous outreach services that he performs in the community, The Lord has enlarged his territory and allowed him to establish another extension to the ministry called Royal Body Shop Outreach Mininstries located in Albion NY. As Apostle and first lady Wilson continue to honor and stay faithful to God, under this ministry the Lord continues to save lives and perform miracles.
